Cahoots

On a rainy Saturday in October, we somehow got Cahoots almost to ourselves! So we can only wonder how bustling a fully occupied version might be. With different seating areas, and a classy decor approach, we really liked the ambience.

It isn’t that they didn’t have an extensive cocktail menu, but we went with the ToiT Tint-Tin Wit.

The Peri Peri Squid Rings was an obvious choice, and it didn’t disappoint. Great texture and perfect seasoning.

When there are cutlets, we have to try them. The Anglo-Indian Mutton Cutlet had great texture but the flavours were just passable. That dip helped though.

Around this point, we realised our appetite had run out. It didn’t help that we had bubble tea plans since we were anyway in this part of the town. Bhoot Jholokia Chicken Tacos seemed a worthy experiment. And that mango mint slaw added an extra tang punch.

We quite liked the vibe at Cahoots. The service was prompt and friendly, and we’ll probably visit again as a larger group because there are many things to try. The bill came to a little under Rs.2800. By Brigade Road standards, I guess that’s par for the course.
