Just found out, on Twitter, about Flipkart’s affiliate program. Since this blog has over 30 book reviews and is bound to have many more, I thought it makes sense for me to add the bit of code to the review posts. Okay, you don’t need to flip, it isn’t as though I’m going to bully you into buying a book, since I know that in case you don’t like it, you’ll throw the book at me. :p
Meanwhile, it helps that I’m a satisfied customer of Flipkart and can, within reasonable limits, recommend their service.
It’s right at the end of each book review, so in case you’re planning to buy the book, it would be great if you can do so from here. I’ll get a tiny share, and you’ll help feed a hungry blogger.

how is conversion rate and your exp with flipkart ?
This will make price comparison sites to flourish soon. Good for us. But I had asked if Infibeam is starting one. They said not anytime soon.

I’ve made more than Rs 5500 with Flipkart affiliate program. The conversion rate is pretty good, between 3-10%. But after selling at least one book for 45 consecutive days I haven’t made a single sale for last 4 days. I smell something fishy now with the Flipkart affiliate program.
Yea. I also managed to generate sales of worth 1 lac in the month of Jan 2011 and after that it was absolutely ZERO.
I have been writing to them from Feb to July about this issue. In july I got the reply saying they have change the tracking code.
Which I guess no one is aware, as their affiliate page still has the old codes. I feel sorry for all other bloggers, who still are using old code and getting ZERO as return.
After I changed the code, sales are back on track but now they are not paying at all.
Since July I have been writing to them and have note received single reply.
In short, they have not yet paid a single penny to me since Jan 2011 till Nov 2011.
Did anyone get paid ? If not, lets boycott flipkart.
What other indian websites offer affiliate program?
Problem with Flipkart is they dont have product catalog API so you have to manually add products 🙁
I have some success with the Flipkart Affiliate Program….not much but got my 1st payment of Rs 3200 in November 2011….another one is on its way 🙂
Dunno about the problem with their tracking code….just wish they allowed multiple tracking ids within an affiliate account….better way to track your campaigns

Flipkart’s affiliate program was good initially but now they have started cheating their affiliates…I was earning nicely through their program but in the last 4-5 months, it’s been a really bad scene…Just search on Google for (Online passive income – Flipkart sucks) and you’ll see my detailed post on this
