totally sucky Manu. should have hollered murder. really! we did that once in a 5 star hotel which refused to serve us coffee just cause we did not ask for some food. heck! we were not even asking for booze, which i understand from people perspective. we created a ruckus and spoke with the manager. made them serve us coffee. complimentary. wasn’t all that comfortable post the ruckus. but we got heard 🙂

deez: not a bad habit at all. one of these days, i see myself changing the line, and putting on yours :).. as they say, sometimes the inspired is better than the inspiration…
parna: i merely said i would wait for one hour if i had to, and sat, all wet, on their plush leather sofa 🙂

I pity such people..now even more coz’ of -ve publicity they’ve got from this blog 🙂

I have a slightly different take on this. See, it is this way, we have to understand that certain places follow certain rules. One is NOT supposed to wear denim for a formal black tie sit down dinner.Don’t temples in south India ( Padmanabha Swamy Temple, Tvm, Guruvayoor, for instance) insist on a proper dress code ?
-
stone: i didnt want them to, so i have refrained from taking names..
pearl: agree, but formal dinners are by invitation and the dress code is clearly specified.. and as for temples, we are devotees there.. in a restaurant, i am a customer, paying for the meal i am about to have.. isnt there a difference??

I was in no way trying to justify their action. what they did to you was improper and rude.
-
Well..restaurants do have their dress rules and if everyone else has no problem adhering with it then I guess we should leave it at that.
-
That’s weird…and stupid!
-
sue them.
brrr…(trying to keep that temper flash down)
forget it manu- they are just not worth your time . or your custom

Woooaahhh!
What do I see here… not one but two -three posts with personal reference? Manu – tumko kua hua? I always thought you never wrote about yourself/family/experiences in direct referrence to urself due to some privacy law!! 😛What can I say – I am shocked!

Achha achha…after all the drama.Man.. these people – they are sad. Thats all I can say~!
-
pearl: but a different thought nevertheless 🙂
silverine: which they should announce beforehand, in the same ad where they invited people to check out their fare..
-
nupur: they are still only references, and set as an example to put across a point.. have realised that totally impersonal posts can become cold and uninteresting.. so what can i say.. you live, you learn 🙂
