A Matter of Time

He knew people changed, but this change astounded him. The last time he’d seen the guy he was just an acerbic old man who growled more than talked and hated the concept of love. But now he was a young man who seemed kind, just and fully in love. Maybe it was just father time!!

until next time, chota akbar 🙂

i always thought tht akbar was a short, fat guy with a turban…it was always the short fat guys who used to cause wars in the past ( napolean, attila, hitler, alexander etc)…of course now it is tall texans..

hmm …I really liked the young Akbar’s character . Guess the older version too always thought of the nation first ( it was for a political reason that Akbar first married Jodha , his dream of a united and harmonious India under his rule ) and setting a precedent for the mass to follow and though religious harmony was one thing diluting royal bloodlines was another i.e where religious harmony was about tolerance and accepting diffrences , the other pertained to the future of the country in terms of the lineage of its rulers .There are some liberties which one cannot take when one has greater powers & responsibilities .

i’d wanna watch it. i wish we could teach our children history ‘as it was recorded’, than history ‘as it happened’. the kids could then make their informed opinions, i am sure, and that would make it a lot more unbiased

*Sigh* Akbar with a six-pack. I must pray for a time machine malfunction.

dharmabum: objectivity would still be a concern.. since history usually has the perspective of the era’s winners
