I tried a deep dive into understanding what would make me happy, and it took me to interesting (and uncomfortable) places. The good news is that I have identified the problem, though I am not yet sure about the solution.

Our paradoxical needs – to “stand out” and “belong” are both a result of different combinations of happiness, contentment, self image and ego. Ways to make our lives meaningful and/or relevant. Is it possible to live even without that agenda?
It’s half time, and as I look back and look ahead, I realise that what I am looking for doesn’t really change – meaning. It’s still a choice though, on how to approach it – “whether to float with the tide, or to swim for a goal”.
