It’s probably middle age, but the topic of a ‘place to retire to’ features in many discussions with friends. In recent years, my hometown has been acting a bit like a magnet. I try to understand why.
My surname is very unobtrusive. It is present in all my official documents. It’s absent in my signature, and when I am casually giving my name in say, a form, I stop at my middle name, which exists courtesy Kerala’s matrilineal ethos. The surname’s modest behaviour is apt for the person it represents.
That sounds like an oxymoron, but desperate times call for desperate measures. Exploring spontaneity to develop an abundance mindset, that’s what this is about.
