The driver ahead, talking on the mobile, was disrupting traffic…irritating him. And then he saw the sticker. At the junction, he knocked on the window and said “Thanks for the warning sticker, ma’am, but your responsibility doesn’t end there. You should also realize that the baby on board is too immature to drive you around”
until next time, hit and run
..and on the blog today, a 55, “Driven to it” https://manuscrypts.com/?p=1679
Yea .. BoB and L drivers are ones to be overtaken at the slightest of opportunity 🙂
Funny but in reality those notices are for emergency workers, who, in the event of an accident, would have to look for a baby in the car. Sadly most people using them do not realise that they are meant to take the notices down when there is no baby on board. (That is why they are not permanent stick-ons, but suction-cupped; also not permanent because babies are not forever.)
Thats an important knock on the window. Hope the sound of the knock stays alive in the ma’am !
Huh ! Well done !
Hope some sense was drilled into that head.
were you the one who did it? 🙂
I hate people who drive while talking on cell phones 🙁 they keep swerving across the road!
Sangfroid: abso agree… on bangalore roads, the auto guys too!!
shefaly: very interesting!! i thought it had something to do with an erratic driving warning..tx
kavi: very very doubtful! 😐
austere: not likely..it seems to be a habit people don’t want to kick!!
Kunal: most of the 55s are a thread out of reality.. exact events dont usually occur 🙂 even with the damn fine, people just love talking on the mobile phone while driving.. if i get very irritated i have this shock therapy of overtaking them, suddenly braking and then driving off…
