Joy

The compartment echoed with the child’s cries despite its mother’s and others’ efforts, as the vendor slowly made his way around hawking his toys. He stopped near the child, trying to cheer it. And slowly the cries turned to gurgles, and laughing. The vendor smiled, the smile of a blind man who could create happiness.until next time, and we turn a blind eye

  1. yep.. simple stuff.. powerful stuff.. a labor boy wet and clothed in mud.. tiringly walking up the street…. all set on getting to his shelter fast… suddenly from one corner.. a street dog equally wet.. rushes to him with easy familiarity and the expression changes.. dejection and tiredness lifts.. and both of them roll on the muddy ground.. totally happy to see each other..no minding the rains or the mud..

me : waiting by the traffic signal.. watching this play.. brings me total joy as well.. 🙂

    Have a good weekend Manus..
