It is easy to call out “stupid” when watching others’ decisions from the sidelines, but how many of our own decisions are really optimised?
I’ve always been a believer in habits, but now I also realise that they can limit one’s growth if they are not (re)aligned to one’s intentions. As I grow older, I can feel the self’s resistance to any sort of change.
Reading and a few recent experiences made me think a little more deeply about old age than I usually do. There is no freedom from old age, but maybe we can be better prepared.
