My surname is very unobtrusive. It is present in all my official documents. It’s absent in my signature, and when I am casually giving my name in say, a form, I stop at my middle name, which exists courtesy Kerala’s matrilineal ethos. The surname’s modest behaviour is apt for the person it represents.
My 10 favourite reads of 2022, and a few extras that I had to sneak in! This year, human motivations and behaviour are a big theme, but there’s also travel, a graphic novel, information warfare, old age, and a few others.
We spent the last few days of our two week Scotalnd-Ireland vacation on day trips from Dublin. Cliffs of Moher, Giant’s Causeway, Ring of Kerry, also covering Galway, Killarney and Belfast.
