We really loved the Punjabi by Nature in Koramangala, and were disappointed by the original version in Whitefield. This revamped effort worked for us only because of the terrace seating. The beer is decent, the food is below average, and the service marches to its own beat!
This is different territory from Jerry Pinto’s previous book and therefore it would be unfair to compare. The narrative is tight, and the author tries to achieve a balance between a reflective commentary on how sexuality is perceived by society, and a gripping murder mystery. Tough job, decent effort.

Every Brewsky reminds me of MTV Grind, this one in Hennur is no different. The sheer expanse of the place will no doubt awe you. The food is decent, the cocktails are just above average, and it might take a while for the service staff to warm up to you.
A particularly depressing book. However that does not mean I won’t recommend it! What really happens to the people whose lives have been upended by a bomb blast? This is that story. The book begins with an explosion, and then it simmers, before boiling towards another.
