A Panchala prince, and son of Suchitra. He had four brothers – Chitraketu, Sudhanva, Chitraratha, Veeraketu. When Veeraketu was killed during the Mahabharata war, the others attacked Drona, but were killed as per Mahabharata Dronaparva Chapter 122 verse 43-49.

Chitralekha (2)
A friend of Banasura’s daughter Usha. She was a very good artist. Once Usha dreamed of Anirudha, Krishna’s grandson, and fell in love even without knowing who he was. The next morning, seeing Usha wistful, she gleaned the reason and drew portraits of all the handsome men known. Usha recognised Anirudha and later, Chitralekha was responsible for them meeting and getting married.

An attendant of Shiva. When Lakshmi was cursed by Vishnu into becoming a horse, Shiva sent Vishnu a message through Chitrarupa as per Devibhagavata Skanda 6.

Chitraratha (8)
The son of Veerabahu. He was present at the swayamwar of Kusha’s daughter Hema. He used the mohanastra on the others there and took Hema away. But he felt guilty and revoked the astra, and waited at the city’s gates. A fight started, but everyone was defeated except Luv. Veerabahu, whow as observing this, intervened and fought with Luv. Kusha then entered the fray and imprisoned Veerabahu, but released him when Rama said that the latter was his friend. Hema was given to Chitraratha and Veerabahu treated with respect as per Anandaramayana Rajyakanda.

A Yaduvanshi king who was the father of Shura and the son of Ushanku as per Mahabharata Anushasanaparva Chapter 147 verse 29.
