A brahmin who lived in Videha. He left his home and stayed at the sage Kadamba’s hermitage for gaining spiritual knowledge. Kadama realised that he had not learned to control his senses and sent him to Ayodhya. There, Kundanta stayed with Rama and learned the path to salvation from Vasishta as per Yogavasishta.
