Antariksha (2)

The Bhagavata mentions a king called Antariksha.

Antecedents: Vishnu – Brahma – Swayambhuva – Priyavrata – Agnidhra – Nabhi – Rishabha – Anthariksha

Swayambhumanu had two sons – Uttanapada and Priyavrata. Dhruva was the son of Uttanapada. Priyavrata married Barhishmati and they had eleven children including Agnidhra. Purvachitti, a devastri became the wife of Agnidhra, and they had nine sons – Nabhi, Hari, Kimpurusha, Ilavrita, Ramyaka, Hiranmaya, Kuru, Bhadrashwa, Ketumala. Nabhi married Merudevi, and they had a hundred sons, eldest among whom was Bharata, from whom the country got its name. Bharata also had brothers like Kushavarta, Ilavarta, Brahmavarta, Malaya, Ketu, Bhadrasena, Vidarbha, Indrasprik, Keekata, according to Bhagavata Chapter 4 vakya 10. Among their sons were Kavi, Hari, Antariksha, Prabudha, Pippalayana, Avirhotra, Dramida, Chamasa, Karabhajana, according to Bhagavata Panchamaskanda Chapters 1-4.
