A king who was also a Shiva devotee. He once gave a death sentence to an innocent woman. He also destroyed a Shiva temple. For these two acts, he was transformed into an evil spirit after death. According to Padmapurana Patalakhanda Chapter 111, he finally prayed to Shiva and became part of Shiva’s retinue.
