The second son of Lakshmana and Urmila. His brother was Thakshaka. Rama set up a kingdom named Agati on the eastern coast and made Thakshaka king. On the western coast he conquered the mlechas and established Chandramati with Chhatraketu as king as per Uttararamayana.
