A tapasvini glorified in Rigveda. She was the daughter of Kakshivan and grand daughter of Drigata. She was a leper and could not get married. She then prayed to the Ashwinis. They cured her and she got married as per Rigveda Mandala 1 Sukta 17 Anuvaka 117.
