A brahmin who lived in Bahusavarnaka, a town on the banks of the Ganga. His wife was very devout and they had five children. A sage named Vaishwanara arrived there when the parents were away. Since the children didn’t take enough care of the sage, Govindadatta disowned them as per Kathasaritasagara Kathapeethalambaka

A mountain in Kraunchadweepa as per Mahabharata Bhishmaparva Chapter 12 verse 19.

Another name for Krishna. He got this name for raising the Govardhana mountain and saving the lives of Ambadi’s residents as per Mahabharata Sabhaparva Chapter 38.
