Kshatradeva

Son of Shikhandi. He was a fierce warrior. In the Kurukshetra war, Bhagadatta inflicted a wound on his right arm. He battled Lakshmana and Drona and was killed by the former as per Mahabharata Udyogaparva Chapters 57, 171,Bhishmaparva Chapter 95, Dronaparva Chapters 14, 21, 23 and Karnaparva Chapter 6.

Ksha

Means Kshatriya as well as Akshara. Ksho means Narasimha, Hari, Kshetrapala and Dwarapala as per Agnipurana Chapter 348.

Kraunchi

The daughter of Kashyapa and Tamra. Her sisters were Bhasi, Shyeni, Shuki and Dhritarashtri. From  Kraunchi were born owls, from Bhasi Bhasuras, eagles and vultures from Shyeni, swans and kokas from Dhritarashtri, and from Shuki was born Nara, mother of Vinata as per Ramayana.

Kraunchavyuha

A battle formation in the shape of a Krauncha.  It has a face, eyes, head, chest, neck, right and left flanks, and waist. As per Mahabharata Bhishmaparva Chapter 75, Bhishma built one, with Drona at the face, Ashwathama and Kripa as the eyes, Hardikya as the head, Shurasena as the neck, the king of Pragjyotisha as the chest. The Tusharas, Yavanakas, Shakas, Chupuvas occupied the flanks and Shrutayus and Bhurishravas the waist.
