Skanda’s warrior as per Mahabharata Shalyaparva Chapter 45 verse 60.
Gajakarna
A yaksha in Kuber’s court as per Mahabharata Sabhaparva Chapter 10 verse 16.
Gaja (2)
The younger brother of Shakuni and the son of Subala. He fought on the Kaurava side in the Mahabharata war along with his brothers and was killed by Iravan as per Mahabharata Bhishmaparva Chapter 90.
Gaja (1)
A warrior vanara king, who fought on Rama’s side against Ravana as per Mahabharata VAnaparva Chapter 273 verse 3.
Gangolbheda
A holy place. Maintaining a fast here for three nights is equivalent to conducting a Vajapeyayajna, and one would merge with the supreme consciousness as per Mahabharata Vanaparva Chapter 84 verse 65.
Gangahrada
A holy place on the borders of Kurukshetra. The Ganga runs deep here and this place is said to be equivalent to 3 crore holy places as per Mahabharata Vanaparva Chapter 83 and Mahabharata Anushasanaparva Chapter 25.
Gangasaraswatisangama
A holy place in Prayag. Bathing here earns one swargaloka as per Mahabharata Vanaparva Chapter 84 verse 38.
Gangasagarasangama
A holy place. BAthing here is equivalent to conducting 10 ashwamedha yajnas as per Mahabharata Vanaparva Chapter 35 verse 4.
