As per Devibhagavata Shashtaskanda, Vritra swallowed Indra after getting a boon from Brahma. The devas approached Brihaspati for help, and as per his advice, they made Vritra yawn. But he then couldn’t close his mouth. Indra used this opportunity to escape. See Vritra for details.

A snake born in the dynasty of Vasuki as per Mahabharata Adiparva Chapter 57 verse 5.
Kotitheertha
A holy place. Bathing here is equivalent to conducting an ashwamedha as per Mahabharata Vanaparva Chapter 82.
Kotikasya
Also known as Kotika. A king who was allied to Jayadratha. Once, during their exile, when the Pandavas were staying in the Kamakya forest, they left Draupadi at home and went into the forest.Jayadratha happened to reach there then and saw Draupadi. He sent Kotikasya to her to lure her. She refused to listen to him and Jayadratha then took her away by force. Kotikasya was the son of Suradha and the king of Trigarta as per Mahabharata Vanaparva Chapter 265.

Skanda’s attendant as per Mahabharata Shalyaparva Chapter 46 verse 14.
Kotaraka
A snake born in Kashyapa’s dynasty as per Mahabharata Udyogaparva Chapter 103 verse 12.
Kokilaka
A warrior who fought in Skanda’s army. He is mentioned in Mahabharata Shalyaparva Chapter 45 verse 73.
