A king of Kalinga. As per Mahabharata Adiparva Chapter 67 verse 65, he was an ansh avatar of the asura Krodhavasha.

One of the 5 attendants given by Brahma to Skanda. The others were Kanda, Kumuda, Dambara, Aadambara as per Mahabharata Shalyaparva Chapter 45 verse 39.

As per Agnipurana Chapter 152 the four allowed occupations for dwija were agriculture, cattle grazing, trade and Kuseeda, which was lending money on interest.

One of the six famous peaks in Kushadweepa. Durdharsha, Kumuda, Dyutiman, Pushpavan, and Hari were the others as per Mahabharata Bhishmaparva Chapter 12 verses 10-11.

One of the mountains surrounding Meru as per Devibhagavata Ashtamaskanda.
Kushikashrama
A hermitage on the banks of the river Keshi. This was where Kushika lived as per Mahabharata Vanaparva Chapter 84 verse 131.
