A famous snake. He was one of those who greeted Balarama when the latter went into the ocean as a snake at the end of his avatar, as per Mahabharata Mausalaparva Chapter 4 verse 15.

Kunjala (2)

A scholarly parrot who lived on the banks of the Narmada. He had a wife and four sons – Ujjvala, Samujjvala, Vijjvala and Kapinjala, as per Padmapurana Bhumikhanda Chapter 85.

Kujrimbha

A warrior danava. His weapon was a club named Sunanda, which could become weak only if touched by a female. He lived beneath the forests near the Nirvindhya river. Once Madavati, the beautiful daughter of the king of Vaishali Viduratha, was abducted by Kujrimbha. Bhalandana’s son Vatsapri got Madavati to touch Kujrimbha’s club and then defeated him. Vatsapri married Madavati as per Markandeyapurana Chapter 116.
