A woman with a disfigured face mentioned in Padmapurana Uttarakhanda Chapter 126. Kubja became a widow during her childhood. She lived the next 8 years following rituals, and attained salvation. This was the time when Sunda and Upasunda were terrifying the world. Kubja saw this and incarnated as Tilottama. She beguiled Sunda and Upasunda, and made them kill each other. Brahma was pleased and gave her a place in Suryaloka.
