A kind of snake. Kashyapa’s wife Krodhavasha had 10 daughters – Mrigi, Mrigamanda, Hari, Bhadramada, Matangi, Sharduli, Shweta, Surabhi, Surasa, Kadru. From Surasa was born nagas and from Kadru Uragas as per Ramayana Aranyakanda Sarga 14.

A devastri. She participated in Arjuna’s birth festival as per Mahabharata Adiparva Chapter 122 verse 63.

Upendra
Another name for Vishnu. Once Vishnu incarnated as the son of Kashyapa and Aditi. He was named Upendra as per Bhagavata Dashamaskanda verse 42.
Upavritta
A region in ancient India as per Mahabharata Bhishmaparva Chapter 91 verse 84.
Upasunda
The son of the asura Nikumbha. His brother was Sunda. The brothers began meditating in the Vindhya mountains to gain enough power to conquer all three worlds. Brahma gave them the boon that they could be killed only by each other. When both fell in love with Tilottama, they ended up killing each other.
Upashloka
The son born to Krishna and Sairandhri. He learned several sciences and finally became a sankhyayoga teacher as per Bhagavata Dashamaskanda.
