The wife of Manu’s son Puru.

Dhruva had 2 sons with Shambhu named Shishti and Bhavya. Shishti and his wife Suchaya had 5 peerless sons – Ripu, Ripunjaya, Vipra, Vrikala, Vrikatejas. Ripu’s wife Brihati gave birth to Chakshusha. Chakshusha married Pushkarini, who belonged to Marutta’s dynasty and was the daughter of Virana prajapati. Their son was Manu. Ten sons were born to Manu and his wife Nagdhvala – Ooru, Puru, Shatadyumna, Tapasvi, Satyavak, Kavi, Agnishtu, Athirathra, Sudyumna, Atimanyu according to Agnipurana Chapter 18. Puru’s wife was called Aagneyi and they had six sons – Anga, Sumanas, Khyati, Kratu, Angiras, Shibi. The child born to Anga and Suneedha was Vena, as per Vishnupurana Ansh 1 Chapter 13.
